INTRODUCTION AND STUDY

The people who belong to Jesus Christ has the Holy Spirit living in them. He reminds you that it is Jesus who has given you faith in Him. He will make sure that yourr faith grows more and more.

He has given you a gift which will lead to eternal life so that you can live with Him in a glorious Heaven and a glorious New Heaven and New Earth.

Jesus has died for your sins to be forgiven and so anyone who believes in Jesus as Saviour has the right to go boldly before the throne of God the Father and pray directly to Him. Believers now have access.

You therefore have confidence. God will help you to persevere, that is to keep on doing what God has told you to do.

Therefore God has given His children duties and responsibilities. This is similar to you having chores to do at home. Having chores mean you are working together with your parents and guardians. When you do your duties God has given you, you become a partner or co-labourer with God. He is pleased when you work with Him.

These duties and responsibilities are to encourage other people, warn ourselves and others of the danger of not continuing to be faithful to Jesus, and watch over one another to make sure things are going all right with them. Sometimes friends slack off on reading their Bibles, helping others in need, comforting those who are depressed and who think things are not going well with them, going to Church regularly to meet other people and helping to encourage them and build up their faith in Jesus,

These duties and responsibilities are so important that Jesus and His disciples commanded that you make sure you do not disobey Him and commit any sin after you learn that doing some things means are doing sins.

If you deliberately continue this is called wilful sinning and God will get angry with you. It means you do not really care about God the Father or about Jesus, and what they want you to do. That will not be a good position to be in. If you do not care about God He will not care about you and so you will not have anyone to protect you against trouble.

Sometimes we have troubles and all kinds of stress. But God tells us not ro despair but to keep on keeping on. There will be a great reward for persevering, keeping the faith, and doing the will of God.

God’s Promises are most important. They will always be met. God will never say something that will not work out. God’s promises are firm. You can trust them. God has all power, wisdom, and knowledge, and the ability to do anything, and solve any problem. Nobody is more powerful than He is. He is loving and kind and so you can depend on Him.

He is merciful and kind and even if you make a mistake all you have to do is to go to Him and confess what you have done. He wants you to persevere and keep on doing things to please Him. Doing the will of God will be well worth it.
