INTRODUCTION

It is not so easy when you come to realize that you are very limited in your ability, the power you have, the knowledge you have, and your tendency to make mistakes when you have to make choices as to what is best for you. But it will help if you understand the reality of life. You will come to know then there is a Creator and He is different from you. He is Spirit and that means He does not have a body made of flesh and blood like you. He has infinite ability, power, understanding, and wisdom. He does not need a body like you, hands to do things, eyes to see, legs to move about. He has no limits and He created the world, the universe, and all living beings just by thinking about what He wanted to do, willing to do what He was thinking and wanted to create. He is perfect in His ways and is always doing the right and the best thing for those He made. God is therefore separate but He is close to human beings and the life forms (the animals and plants) He created. We call Him holy and righteous.

God is so holy and separate that we, the finite and limited people would not even know He existed if He did not reveal Himself and His love for us. God revealed Himself to us through two ways. One was through nature, the things we see around us every day. He sends this message about Himself using everything we can see. This is a simple message. He used the things of nature to spread the message about His existence and His glory and that is seen all over the world. Nobody can say they do not see the power of God and the skill and genius used to create the world and all that is in it. Sadly some people misinterpret what nature is telling them about God and they try to make things just like themselves and the things they see in nature and then worship that as their god. That is very foolish for they have to make these idols, put them in a place from where these gods cannot move without their help. These idols are more limited in power and strength and ability that human beings. So it makes no sense to worship idols.

Then to make sure man understands God, He sent a message about Him by prophets who wrote the Bible and explained all the ideas and things people needed to know about God. God gave these prophets visions, and dreams, and God spoke to them and they wrote all His words so that we would understand who God is and what He is like. The Bible therefore is inspired by God and it is perfect and accurate.

Some do not like to read about the laws of God the prophets , Jesus, and the Apostles of Jesus revealed because they know the laws of God tell man how they should live, the right way to live if they wanted to obtain eternal life and the amazing and incredible blessings God promised.

Some people are disobedient and try to develop their own rules on how to live. But that way they develop has led to violence, murder, abuse of people, wars, robbery, and all the sins God does not like and sins God condemned. They try and fail all the time when they try to find mistakes in the Bible. But King David who wrote Psalm 19 about the glory of God shown in nature has reminded of that wise people know that if they want to live the best way possible and get the reward of living in a perfect new world to come, they should have to follow the laws of God. The apostle Paul also stressed that the laws of God are perfect and are a great guide to living. Just before he was killed for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the salvation He brought to mankind, Paul urged Timothy his faithful helper to stay committed to the gospel taught to him by his mother and grandmother named Lois and Eunice. He should never forget his mother and his grandmother loved him and had put him on the best road. Paul loved Timothy so much he gave him the best advice possible. Timothy was saved from sin, and though he was a very young man he did a great job and brought many to the Lord. We have great teachings from the prophets, Jesus the Son of God the Father, the Apostles, and  faithful parents like the mother and grandmother of Timothy. We have the Bible and the presence of the Holy Spirit to guide us and save us from sin and bring eternal life to us. So be faithful like King David, Jesus, the prophets, the disciples and the Apostles of Jesus, the faithful and loving parents, and the many other followers of Jesus. Trust only Jesus.
