INTRODUCTION
We like to live in safety and we like to be able to make decisions about our life and what is happening around us. We like to be able to make our own decisions about things that affect us. But this control over events happening around us is not often the case.
We see that the birds that fly around have no great way to protect themselves and so we know God protects them, feeds them, and looks after their welfare.
We also see the fish that swim around in the sea and we know that human beings try to catch them and reduce the amount of fish. Some people have to fight hard to protect the fish so that they are not wiped out. We know that God acts to protect the fish and often people are warned by others not to overdo their catching of the fish in the oceans.
God works in the unseen world of the ocean and in the skies to protect those that live there. God knows that many living beings are weak and need protection. He also knows that human beings are weak and unable to protect themselves.
God has promised His children that He will care for them and so we have hope in God. We are in the family of God and we can feel many times that God works out events around us so that we will benefit. So what we hope for will happen. We will have to be patient and wait on God, always praying that He will fulfill his promise to us very quickly.
We know that God knows what is in our hearts and so when we are weak, sad or not feeling well the Bible tells us to pray. It also tells us that the Spirit of God who lives in us also prays for us and so God the Father and Jesus Christ listens to Him and answers His prayers for us. Both God the Father, Jesus our Saviour, and the Holy Spirit knows what is each others’ mind. All of them love us and will also do what is needed to make life well for us. They all seek our welfare and will protect us.
We need to be patient for God does not always act quickly. But we know He is there and He loves us. When we are patient we will grow stronger and our strong faith will help us and please God.
So let us keep on loving God for He loves us. Let us remember God looks after the birds and the fish in the ocean because they cannot help themselves. We are His children and more valuable than they and are loved by God even more than He loves the birds that fly around in the sky and the fish that swim around in the oceans. Because we know of God’s great love for us we know He will always move to act for us because He has great love for us.
So continue to pray. Be wise and avoid troublesome situations. Get advice on how to live from parents and family and from those who believe in God and have the wisdom that God has given them. Remember God care for you and will always help you to overcome your weakness
