INTRODUCTION
It is hard to accept the fact that all people whether they are rich, powerful, and influential or poor, have very little power. Human beings are very limited. They can do some marvellous things but they cannot solve most of the problems around them. When the rich and powerful live they build great structures, name streets, and name buildings after themselves for they want the persons who live after them to remember that they had lived. But that is all in vain. When the powerful die their plans die with them. People change the names of the buildings and streets and put other people’s name on them.
The Psalms therefore warn us that God is the only One who lives forever and whose plans never die. God is not like human beings. He is unlimited in power and ability and because of His great love and compassion for those He created, He is always concerned about people and does whatever is needed to save and keep them.
God created the world. That shows His power and love is mighty. It is only right therefore that we praise God for what He has done.
We can use different instruments to praise Him. But we can above all use our voices and sing praises to Him. Even more than this, we can do actions to help others and that will lead other persons to praise God and thank Him for His mercy and kindness that has been shown through us.
God gave us life. We breathe because of Him. His mercies never fail. They are refreshed every morning. So in thankfulness to God and for the gift of His son the Lord Jesus Christ who came to earth, lived among us, died on the Cross to redeem us, anf forgive our sins we praise God the Father. Then we continue to praise God the Father as long as we live for raising His Son and having Him then ascend to heaven to sit in the place of power beside His Father and work on our behalf. Our lives, our voices, our actions, must all work together to praise God the Father for His goodness and His plans to bless us, and give us eternal life.
