REJOICING IN HEAVEN
LESSON FOR THE JUNIOR CLASSES
STUDY SCRIPTURE: REVELATION 19:1- 8

Let’s rejoice and be glad and give the glory to him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his bride has prepared herself.

INTRODUCTION AND STUDY
When you overcome any kind of difficulty you know you have won a victory and it is time for a celebration. You are happy. When you have gotten a victory over some bad situation which has been there for a long time your happiness will as it were “hit the roof”.
Our Study looks at a bad situation which had affected everyone on the earth who has ever lived. In this situation the enemies of mankind who also happen to be the sworn enemy of God and His angels decided that they would make people do anything that God did not like. When human beings followed these evil beings who were not even human and did these things and broke the rules God had established for the benefit of human beings disaster happened. People were abused, their property were stolen, people were kidnapped and turned into slaves forced to do all kinds of evil and immoral things, all kinds of crimes were done. People were so helpless that someone had to come and free them from slavery.
This person came and His name was Jesus Christ. He taught the people, did all kinds of miracles, and gave up His life when He took over the sins of the people. He then returned to Heaven where He stayed and protected all those that believed on Him as their Saviour.
After a while Jesus and His Father in Heaven decided they had had enough of the bad behaviour and their mercy and kindness ran out. All the angels in Heaven and the human beings who had died and gone to Heaven to be with God were happy when the Father made the decision to no longer allow the wicked people and the evil Satan they liked to follow had to be put in their cages. Jesus came back to earthto do just that.
Everybody except the wicked people on earth rejoiced and praised God the Father and Jesus for finally wisely using their unlimited power to stop evildoers.
They knew that now Jesus knew that those who believedin Him had been purified and were holy. They would be taken to a splendid occasion for rejoicing called the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. These saved and redeemed people were now in a very close relationship with Jesus and they could not be separated from Him. They had listened to what Jesus and the Holy Spirit had taught them and they obeyed the commandments and the rules God has laid down for our benefit.
The Apostle John revealed that God would now set up His rule on earth and that will last for ever. The angels will carry out His orders to remove everything that is not right. Soeveryone in heaven and on earth who were people who loved God rejoiced.
God had given you a job to do so that everyone you meet and bring around to accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour will be at this amazing Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Everything good and delicious will be there in an unlimited supply. Best of all Jesus will be there congratulating and rewarding everyone for they had won a great victory over Satan and evil people. The joy felt by everyone will be so incredible we can hardly describe it.
So make sure you are there and bring all your family, friends, and the neighbours you have to this Supper.
Remember that God has the power to invite you to that Grand Supper. He will correct the poverty, the abuses of the poor and the helpless, clean up the environment, and make sure good laws are in place and faithful and righteous persons are in charge.
God can do this because He is the Lord God Almighty. His power is unlimited. His wisdom is unlimited. He is kind and puts up with the bad behaviour of the people now in charge but the time comes when that will change. The angels in heaven are glad that God will finally bring about His kingdom and remove Satan and his demonic associates and those that believe in him because they have been deceived.God also has done great things for usG
Therefore praise God and rejoice with the angels that He was ready to clean up the mess on earth. Even the animals and everything that was living joined with the angels and those that believed in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ and praised God.
The time we had long waited for had come. So let us rejoice and pray that God will come quickly to set up His kingdom.
