PRAISE FOR GOD’S ETERNAL REIGN
LESSON FOR THE JUNIOR CLASSES
STUDY SCRIPTURE: REVELATION 11:15-19

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

INTRODUCTION AND STUDY
When you consider the state that the world is in it can be very distressing. Some leaders take money that should be used to help the people of the nation and either spend it on themselves and their families or simply hide it in other countries. Some citizens of countries have a hard time getting vaccines of all kinds and they suffer and often die from diseases. Some do not get water that is clean and without germs in it. Others cannot find any space in schools so that they can attend and get an education to get a good job. All kinds of terrible things happen.
In fact thought these things do not have to happen. The problem is that leaders and many people who control the wealth of the country allow people to be abused and do not do their job efficiently. The problems can be very large but if we accept responsibility for our mistakes things will be better. One big reason for our failure is that we do not want to listen to and obey the commandments and the rules God has laid down for our benefit.
The Apostle John however has revealed that God will set up His rule on earth that will last for ever. The angels will carry out His orders to remove everything that is not right. So in our Study we see an angel sounding the Trumpet to tell everyone in heaven and in earth that the time had come for God to remove evildoers and make things right, punishing bad people, and bringing good things to people on the earth,
God has the power to do that and correct the poverty, abuses of the poor and the helpless, clean up the environment, and make sure good laws are in place and faithful and righteous persons are in charge.
God can do this because He is the Lord God Almighty. His power is unlimited. His wisdom is unlimited. He is kind and puts up with the bad behaviour of the people now in charge but the time comes when that will change. Nehemiah The angels in heaven are glad that God will finally bring about His kingdom and remove Satan and his demonic associates and those that believe in him because they have been deceived.God also has done great things for usG
God has a Covenant, an unbreakable agreement with those who believe in Him. This means that God will protect and reward His people. He loves His people so much that He will one day live with them in a brand new Heaven and a brand new Earth. Nothing bad will happen then. There will no tears, sorrow, abuse of people, robbery and crime, or suffering.
So everyone praised God that He was ready to clean up the mess on earth. Even the animals and everything that was living joined with the angels and those that believed in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ and praised God.
The time we had long waited for had come. So let us rejoice and pray that God will come quickly to set up His kingdom.
