Psalm 150:6

INTRODUCTION AND STUDY
These Psalms are about God. He did great things for Israel. He delivered them from slavery in Egypt, protected them, fed them, and gave them water to drink while they travelled for 40 years through the wilderness, led to the Promised Land of Canaan, helped them defeat their enemies, and forgave them when they disobeyed Him and broke the Covenant He had with them. When they were captured and taken into exile God freed them and returned them to their country in the exact time He had predicted.
God has also done great things for us. He has saved us and kept us from danger.God also has done great things for usG
The writer of these Psalms therefore told the nations and all people to shout and sing joyfully to the Lord for He had done great things for them. He loved them so much He had been faithful to His promises to them. He had preserved them. The writer of the psalms was so very happy at what God had done that he called on everybody on the earth to praise God justas the angels in heaven did. He predicted that one day every living being on earth, in heaven, under the earth, and everywhere else would praise God for His great works. Praise would be made by animals, birds, and even trees.
We are then told to praise God using not only our voices in singing, but we should use many musical instruments such as the trumpet, harps, tambournes, cymbals, timbrels. People are not to look sad and lifeless when praising God. When they think about what great things God has done their praises should come from a happy heart. They should sing new songs beside the older songs they had been singing. They should pull out all the stops.
God loves music. He loves when we sing songs of praise. Remember we too just like God enjoy singing and playing music.
God is our Creator, our Saviour, our protector, our guide, and the One who does great things. He deserves our praise.
